Cabo San Lucas has seen incredible growth during
the time of our first trip there in 1989 to our last trip in July 2002.
The town is small in size, but big on tourism. The beaches are pretty
nice, although not as nice as in La Paz or other areas of Baja.
Many Baja aficionados despise Cabo since it is
unlike any of the other more pristine regions of the peninsula. While
it is true that Cabo does not give the same off-the-beaten-path feel as
you would have in other regions of Baja, I still find Cabo has gotten a
bit of a bad rap. I belive that Cabo San Lucas, as well as the entire
Cape Region, is a place worth the time and effort to visit. |
