La Paz is in a beautiful area, and the city is
very large by Baja standards. The beaches north of town aren't what
they used to be, but they are still very nice. There is also a lot
of things to do in the city of La Paz.
To me, La Paz is the nicest city in all of Baja.
The people are usually friendly and the town does not have a touristy feel,
although many tourists can be found there. The restaurants are fantastic,
and the atmosphere is very relaxing with a vacation-type feel. A
stay of at least 2 nights is a must for anyone traveling through this region. |
