San Felipe

"San Felipe" is located about 120 miles south of the El Centro/Mexicali border crossing.  San Felipe is the northern-most city in Baja that is located on the Sea of Cortez.
During the week, during non-holidays, and on most weekends, San Felipe is a paradise for those looking to do absolutely nothing.  You can lay out at the beach, sit by the pool, or drink margaritas all day with little to bother you.
San Felipe has become one of my favorite, close places to visit.  Although growth for this region is inevitable, right now San Felipe is relatively quiet by tourist-trap-town standards (except on holidays and busy weekends).
